What Is Provillus?

One of the things I hate about the hair growth market and generally any market that plays upon any of our anxieties or fears (penis enlargement, acne removal, hair loss, you name it) is how these product are so overwhelmingly hyped that you can’t really make an informed decision just by browsing the Internet. It pisses me off really, because we’ve gotten ourselves used to a shopping model where we rely upon each other to recommend or play down products and in the case of such products (like Provillus), it’s simply difficult to churn out the honest reviews from the sea of biased ones.

What’s Provillus?

To exemplify from another consumer niche, buying a new plasma TV and making sure you’re taking the right decision is easy: you can simply take 5 minutes to check the reviews on a couple of larger online stores and chances are you’ll get honest-to-God opinions and reviews from real users.

With products like Provillus however, things change drastically. Some products are so overhyped into oblivion that they go beyond that thin line between making you want to try a product (like Provillus) and turning on your scam-detection sensors. Unlike a plasma TV, Provillus is also used to solve a rather embarrassing problem, so it’s not unusual that people aren’t that open to talk about their results, even online, thus leaving more leverage to marketing sharks and self-promotion.

I’m telling you all this because I’m about to review one of the most popular hair growth products out there and I want to be straightforward with you: I’m being paid to review Provillus, but in no way do I want to contribute to the whole “marketing sharkiness” trend exemplified above.

I explained quite clearly before signing on to this that I’m going to make a balanced and unbiased review of Provillus and not fall into the praise-them-because-they-pay-you trap. So, without further ado, I bring you Provillus.

Availability

The first thing I checked up on Provillus, even before actually trying the product was how an Average Joe goes about obtaining a bottle of this would-be hair growth miracle drug (mind you, the whole miracle drug hype had me setting myself into skepticism gear on default). I found that Provillus can actually be acquired without too much fuss online and most importantly, you don’t need a prescription for it!

I can’t tell you how important this was to me as I wouldn’t have been happy if I had to discuss my expanding bald spot with some unknown person just to get a hold of Provillus.

Three months into the treatment, I told a friend of mine about it and he ordered it in great conditions, plain packaging and all those small details that protect you from the slightest of embarrassments. So far simple ordering, anonymity, seemingly endless availability and speed of delivery were 4 trials that Provillus passed with success.

Provillus Results Comparison

My friend and I (we’ll call him “Mike”, because, well, his name is Mike) obviously started talking about the treatment and comparing results on a weekly basis – after all, we were to each other pretty much the only persons that would relate to something like this and the embarrassment barrier was lifted by the fact that we were both in the same boat, rowing towards a land of hairy scalps.

Now, remember, he had ordered Provillus on my recommendation and he started roughly 3 months later than me, so I was really hoping to take the high road and rub it in his face how my treatment beats his treatment’s ass, but instead, was quite shocked to see that he was “gaining up on me”, literally burning through the process that I had a head start in.

The Upper Hand With Provillus

This really got me thinking – was I doing something wrong? Was it simply a disparity caused by our different hair types or how far along the hair loss road we had been before starting the treatment?

I finally stepped over my ego and asked him if he was doing something differently, sneakily suggesting he was using another product (besides Provillus) at the same time, with the hope I’d get him in defense mode and confessing to what his advantage was. And it worked!

Apparently, we were handling the treatment a bit differently, since his online provillus order came with an 8-page bonus report on how to make the most out of the treatment”. Turns out, while I was following the basic instructions, Mike had notched it up to second gear and was trying out advanced techniques from the report that eventually proved to be efficient. I immediately hopped onto it as well and the report does make quite a lot of sense, if you want to check it out you can find it here.

My Conclusion On Provillus

At the end of my treatment, even after cursing myself for not getting my hands on the advanced hair growth techniques report earlier, I was quite pleased with Provillus, although I still had a lukewarmish feeling in my gut about it.

It delivered its promises and the results were visible and encouraging, but if you look at it as some sort of miracle drug that is supposed to fix your hair loss problems within a short time span, you are sadly mistaking.

It took me 6 months of constant treatment (and trust me, the first month’s the hardest, because you can’t really see the treatment working properly and it’s disenharting  to continue) and will probably take another 6 months to even out my hairline completely. But hey, no success ever came by without hard work, so if you think you have the ambition and discipline to go through with this, I’m pretty sure Provillus can help you get that afro you were sporting in the 60s right back on your head ;)
